To celebrate Singapore’s 54th birthday, @enjoyeatinghouse will be launching new dishes on their menu - some that will remind you of HOME. 🏠
I’m particularly excited about the pending launch of a new dessert, whose colours take resemblance to our National flag. 🇸🇬 I was simply captivated by those beautiful hues! Featuring Panna Cotta topped with homemade Red Ruby ❤❤❤ (water chestnuts coated with tapioca starch) as well as surprise ingredients/elements, I’m definitely staying tuned for the final product! 👌🏻
Confirmed on their new menu is their Black Pepper Beef & Foie Gras ($24.80)! Yes you heard me right – this is a premium plate right there. 💯 Featuring thick cubes of tenderloin beef 🐄, it is commendable that the beef cubes were cooked to perfection (medium for us), with pinkish tones when we bite in. 💕 The cut used was definitely a good one as it did not take us much jaw work to chomp down these thick & juicy cubes. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Donning a light shade of brown are pieces of foie gras that is of melt-in-your-mouth texture 🤤🤤🤤, which added a nice layering of textures to the plate. When wok-fried with onions & capsicums with a pleasant crunch, & a generous amount of black pepper sauce that packs a punch 🌶, this was indeed reminiscent of home. Or a good zichar stall. 👍🏻
Also a new creation is Lemon Chicken ($13.80), a classic dish that can’t go wrong. ✔ Liked that the coat of batter was not too thick & was fried to the perfect crisp, which did not turn soggy even after the lemon sauce was doused over it. 🍋 The specially-concocted lemon sauce was both sweet & tangy, rendering a nice citrusy note without being overwhelming. 😋😋😋
You just gotta try these new dishes for yourself!

Feature Singapore Style Chilli Prawns with mini mantous.
Fresh prawn that cooked in chilli crab sauce, dipped in mini mantous that crispy outside n so soft inside. Shiok 😋.

Taste: Full of wok hey. Broth was amazingly tasty and thick. And not overly jelat. Can’t help but devour one spoon after another. Pork was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the marinate was cooked right through the meat.
Texture: Beehoon was thinner than usual, and all soaked in that goodness of broth.
Highly recommend!
Bonus points for returning: Boss was extremely friendly and warm!! Further, watching his YouTube video on how he seeks to continue the true Singaporean cuisine culture is heartwarming.


From a recipe passed down from Chef Joel’s late grandma, this Grandma’s “Te Kah” Bee Hoon is, simply put, delicious.

The braised pork leg is wok-fried with vermicelli, and the star ingredient is definitely the vermicelli for me. It has a moist texture and filled with ‘wok hei’ such that it outshines the tender pork leg.

Deep Fried Prawn Patty! Crispy on the outside, not too thick skin. Prawn is fresh and chewy within.

The sweet chilli cause is light and sweet. Very well done. A must try.


I quite like it with the sauce. Taste a little too porky or 臭猪肉味 without the sauce.

Tender and not too fatty.
