Emmental cheese, button mushroom, cream sauce.

Liked the taste and texture of their buckwheat galette best out of those that I’ve tried here. It was crisp and not too thick. But I’d probably made a poor choice for fillings. It was creamy, a tad salty because of the cheese and cream sauce I guess and left a lingering salty aftertaste. The galettes at the next table looked much nicer than mine. Still prefer crepe to galette.

Home made salted butter caramel, cooked apples and home made vanilla ice cream.

Prefer the soft crepe to galette. Crepe was really soft and chewy, with some thickness and more filling than it seemed. Their home-made salted butter caramel was like butterscotch and not sickly sweet - so good. But you have to pair it with their home made vanilla ice cream else the dish will be too sweet and it’s just not as nice. Like the flavour combination but would prefer the crepe to be just slightly less thick.

Well well, bet you were looking for this review after reading my first post. Wait, you haven’t? Well, head on to the first if you want to know about some savoury goodness of crepes(and cheeses).

Frankly, I chose this as my dessert because I liked the name Geraldine. And I didn’t understand why the name Geraldine equals to Everybody. “So everyone is a Geraldine, and Geraldine’s favourite is everyone’s favourite?” I asked the waitress (who is also a French), where she replied “Desolee, je ne sais pas.” and moved along. Now I’m confused, perhaps there were so many french in that cafe she forgot momentarily that my primary language ain’t French.

The menu was right, though, Geraldine’s Favourite was presented to us, warm, but not piping hot. Enough to melt the creamy vanilla ice cream a little but not so hot that you end up with a warm vanilla drink on your plate. The caramel sauce drizzled over the crepe.. Oh no, not those cheap syrup you see at the supermarket. That’s atrocious. It's the good, caramelized goodness with an ever so mild bitter aftertaste caramel should have. Hmmm, so yummy… As you cut into the crepe, the caramelized apples then flow out, along with the cold ice cream, you put it into your mouth. Creamy, cold, warm, sweet, and bitter. A gastronomical explosion on your tongue as you reach for the second, third bite and before you know it, it’s gone, and you need a second crepe. No wonder it’s everyone’s favourite.

Entre-Nous Creperie
Emmental Cheese and Button Mushrooms with bechamel sauce ($16.90)

Entre-Nous Creperie is my go-to place for french crepes because they mean business. What do I mean business? Despite being tucked away at a corner of a quaint street, you can see french people streaming in and speaking in their tongues.. For a moment I thought I was in Europe. Authentic French Crepes, that’s why, they mean business.

Creamy, thicc, rich, and aromatic… as you cut open the crepe, melted cheese pours out from the slit with the bechamel sauce and before you know it, you had to wipe your saliva off on the napkin.. Cheeses are not for the faint hearted but the emmental cheese is a milder variety for the general public’s palates. Portions are big, so if you’ve decided to chicken out because of a mental barrier(emmental barrier), or simply because you are lactose intolerant, you can always opt for the sweet option, coming up, in the next review.

Bon Appetit!

If you ever find crepe better than this place, please let me know. Dropped by 15:50 and the lady (seemed to be the owner) told me their last order is 16:00 and they were full of orders already. But she’s still accomodated me dine in. As I have to order straight away with her.

I went with La Gleman $14.90 which consists of crepe with grated coconut, maple syrup anc homemade salted butter caramel ice cream that interests me to pick this item.

Although the crepe presentation was ordinary but the taste is amazing! First bite, will bring you to heaven state for a moment. The crepe was totally sweet since it were drenched in maple syrup but it’s worth every calories. I shared with friend over iced mocha. But their drinks doesn’t appeared to be standout, too ordinary. What a pity, my iced mocha wasn’t that good. The shredded chocolate sat below the bottom of the glass & the mocha taste is diluted with the ice.

Casual cafe for weekend teatime 2-4pm.

Next visit, would love to try Geraldine’s favourite crepe.

Ordered 3 dishes (2 crepes, 1 french onion soup), bill was about 50+. Soup was the best imo. Crepes are good too, were more like very thin pancakes, but barely crispy at all. Place was busy and packed by 11.30, had a long queue when we left at 12.30.

Scallop cooked in white wine sauce and topped with bread crumbs. The key is in the sauce, is simply delicious. ~ SGD15.90

French crepes - All their savoury crepes are made with their 100% buckwheat batter, while their sweet crepes are made with a wheat batter.

this little creperie tucked in Seah Street revived my memories of having breakfast in Paris.. we ordered a savoury (La Brehat which translates to egg, ham, emmental cheese) as well as a sweet crepe (Geraldine’s favourite which translates to homemade salted butter caramel, cooked apples and homemade vanilla ice cream on the side). Really authentic buckwheat crepes and they tasted so good without me feeling guilty with the carbs.

Egg, tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, herbs and minced beef. Authentic French Crepe place along Seah Street. Would be better if it wasn’t so burnt

savoury crepes were about $20ish whilst the sweet crepes were about $15ish. savoury crepes were decent but the sweet crepes really shined! we totally would’ve ordered more if calories didn’t count 😍

one of the best dessert crepes i've ever had. The homemade salted caramel sauce was to die for. Perfectly coupled with the sweet apple chunks inside the crepe :-) the homemade vanilla ice cream had generous flecks of vanilla bean and went so well with the crepe. a must order.

Thought that the chocolate ice cream and chocolate crepe combination was quite an overkill. 🙊

A hunt for authentic crepes led me to the quaint restaurant specialized in crepes of a wonderful assortment from savory to sweet. Smoked salmon and sour cream, being safe options for all things sandwichy were nothing of special mention but the buckwheat crepe had a unique earthy and nutty flavor which served as a special base for the otherwise boring toppings. $20.90 for a crepe was a little expensive though but for a taste of authentic crepe with apple cider (top with a pretty french waitress!) was a pleasant experience after a hectic day of work. :)

It took some courage for me to dine alone at this quaint restaurant with no customers but the quest for good crêpes overcame that uncertainty. And I wasn't wrong about this place. The buckwheat crêpe was done perfectly; crispy on outside while springy inside. The cheesy mushrooms filling was light and velvety. Their refreshing smoothie ($8.50+) was blended on the spot using banana, apple and a hint of salted butter caramel. Can't wait to go back for their sweet crêpes! 😄

By mere chance, I discovered a quaint little French Creperie on Seah Street, which claims to serve authentic French crepes from Brittany. They offer both sweet and savory crepes; the sweet ones made from organic wheat flour are thin, dense and eggy while the savory ones made from buckwheat are glutton-free and crispy.
🇫🇷
I have not tried the French crepes in France so I'm not the best person to tell you if they are indeed authentically French. But I can tell you that this crepe was so good, I was planning my second visit as I finished the crepe.
🇫🇷
The sweet crepe was nicely chewy and consistent in both thickness and texture. And though the generous topping of homemade chocolate sauce looked as though it might induce a sugar coma, it wasn't overly sweet and was actually very addictive.
🇫🇷
Lastly, the scoop of homemade coconut sherbet deserves a special mention. Like most good coconut ice cream, this one is very rich, creamy and not too sweet. But what sets it apart is the textured mouthfeel you get because of the addition of shredded coconut.
🇫🇷
Btw, I also tried their homemade caramel butter crepe, which is definitely worth a try as well. Now sit down, relax and enjoy your crepes. They are expensive but they are so good, I think they are worth it!

P/S This place accepts only cash and charges SGD 1+ per glass of iced water.

I swear this place needs more love! I love French buckwheat crepes filled with savory goodness! I ordered stephan's favorite that consists of roasted chicken with Caramelised onions and mustard in a buckwheat crepe. Very home cooked style kind of French food and not overly expensive. Come here to make all your crepe dreams come true! Will come back to try their sweet crepes next time!

Still our go-to place when we need our fix of crepes. i had the cider for a start, a l'ile aux moines (roquefort, chives and walnuts) as my main and a salted caramel crepe with apple slices and ice cream for dessert. Delish.

Entre-Nous Creperie specialises in sweet and savoury crepes (galettes) from Brittany. Opened by a French couple, you can be sure you're going to get excellent crepes here. Opt for wheat or buckwheat crepes, with the latter having an earthier, nuttier taste. A safe option for a savoury crepe would be the Ham & Mushroom ($15.40) or Stephan's Favourite ($20.20), which has chunks of roast chicken, wholegrain mustard and sweet caramelised onions. Make space for the sweet ones like Faustine's Favourite ($14.90), topped with coconut, homemade chocolate sauce and coconut sorbet, or the foolproof Entre-Nous ($9) drizzled in their heavenly homemade salted butter caramel.
