Couldn't resist getting these Katsu sandos from Esora, especially after we found out that these are specially curated for takeaway during this period and are not available on their usual menu😲. The packaging is super duper cute and unwrapping them almost feels like unwrapping a gift🎁! Tried a variety of pork🐷, beef🐮, ebi🦐 and tamagoyaki sandos. Would have been more enjoyable if the patties retained more of their crispy outer layer, but guess it couldn’t be helped😢 Our favourite though, was the tamagoyaki sando🍳! We loved how eggy, milky, soft and thick it was, which made it super satisfying when we bit into it!

Lastly, rounded up our meal with the Japanese pudding🍮. Chilled it before consuming and it was so so good. Super light and fragrant, not sweet at all with the slightly bitter caramel at the bottom balancing it out. Truly a good end to the meal🙆‍♀️!

The only dessert on the takeaway menu, the Japanese pudding comes in a very rich and creamy taste. The pudding was very soft and melt within your mouth. There’s also caramel underneath it which putting another layer of taste with it bittersweet side.

Is always my dream to have the chance to visit Easora for their exciting menu. But now the chance is here at least for a much affordable one.

Because of the pandemic, Esora introduced some takeaway menu for everyone who miss trying the food by the chef.

Couldn’t find the chance to try in their last few opens, so when the announcement of no dine in; I immediately on the lookout for their reopening of the order and successfully ordered mine.

Japanese pork featured a super juicy and tender pork cutlet , stuffed in between the sandwich with some veggie. I was very surprised with the sandwiches actually, it has the infuse of yuzu taste with it.

I love the Ebi Katsu Sando 🦐 which have this juicy thick Ebi cutlet sandwiched between finely shredded cabbage, savoury Thai-like spicy sauce, shiso, and lightly-toasted soft pillowy milk bread 🍞 it’s like a Thai-Japanese fusion sandwich 🥪 would actually get this again because the ebi katsu is so well-done👍💯

Fortunately, we managed to try them during their limited run and let’s hope Chef Koizumi will bring them back again soon.

Finally I am able to tick them off my wishlist and have a taste of Chef Koizumi’s one-degree cooking philosophy to Japanese katsu. It was truly an enjoyable treat biting into the Black Angus Beef ($38) that was cooked to medium doneness with the shiso leaves cutting the richness of the beef while the lady enjoyed her Japanese Pork ($28). We capped off lunch with the creamy and decadent Japanese Pudding ($8).
