From the Burpple community

The Spiced Salmon came with mashed potatoes, salmon roe, arugula and lemon tobiko cream sauce which was quite unique. Portions are quite generous and service is good too! Will be back to try the other items in the future 😋

There are so many new food places at @citygate.sg lately and they look good! We went to @evanskitch and had a set for 2 at $55 with @burpple beyond which comes with 2 mains and 2 drinks 🤗 We had the Spaghetti Pork Stew Stock with Japanese Char Siew Pork Belly which was very flavourful and the meat was charred enough too.

With a passion for offering healthy foods that are great tasting and unique, you'll find Chef Evan cooking up a storm in this casual eatery in City Gate! With the $55 Set for 2, you'll get a choice of 2 mains and 2 beverages which we'd highly recommend the Chili Soft Shell Crab Spaghetti ($25) for house-made chili egg sauce and fresh crab meat, served with a side of crispy fried mantou, and their Authentic Teriyaki Burger ($22), which comes with a choice of chicken or fish for your patty. On beverages, take your pick from their selection of coffee, non-coffee artisanal teas and beverages.

Served with oregano baked beans, mesclun, crispy hash browns, sauteed forest mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, sourdough, vegan fillet, sliced meat, sausage, housemade strawberry chia jam✨

Got to say this is a very satisfying and filling brunch. Housemade strawberry chia jam deserves a shoutout on its own for complementing the sourdough so well! Only thing to nitpick was the salad (that was too bitter for our liking) and the vegan sausage was too dry. Still super worth with burpple deal though ($55 For 2 mains and 2 drinks)

Tried their earl grey chocolate that tasted really unique and fragrant. Was glad it was not milky or overly sweet.

Happy to find a place serving quality food with vegan and non-vegan options. Will be back to try other dishes 🥰

Steak was really good, medium just like how we ordered :)
There’s also an option to choose how you would like your eggs .

We got the char siew pork belly spaghetti and the beef rendang fettuccine. The beef for the rendang was slightly tough, but the sauce was good. Char siew spaghetti was a hit though!

Overall a quaint space that was quite enjoyable!
