Flavour-wise, we felt that it was a pity that they decided to tone down the taste of their Tom Yum which lost the punch we desired, although the spicy level could be increased by adding the chilli powder. Instead, we preferred their local Assam flavour which was more unique (maybe when paired with porridge). The next time we return we would probably go for the porridge than noodles which had a “comfort food” kinda taste. And that’s the beauty of this traditional dish, comforting with simple Thai flavours. Nonetheless, the restaurant-pricing for these dishes would be debatable.
Will we return for more? Yes as it’s still pretty tasty food, but we wouldn’t queue if there’s a need to.
