In collaboration between the @muttons and @roastparadise from Old Airport Road Hawker Centre (⭐️⭐️⭐️ by @foodkingnoc), @fook.kin is a hipster eatery along Killiney Road that greets customers with pink neon lights 😂. Known for their KL style Char Siew and golden crackling Siew Yoke, their menu also carries a couple of other appetizers and small plates that are great for sharing. Do get their noodles (You Mian/Mee Pok) instead of just rice for a complete wholesome experience!

Featured are their Signature Char Siew Siew Yoke Platter, Roast Duck, Golden Lotus Roots Chips and Triple Happiness. Everything was up to standard, except for their Roast Duck in herbal Dang Gui sauce. The meat wasn’t succulent enough and the diluted sauce also lacked the robust flavours of herbs and spices.

Special mention goes out to their springy noodles tossed in garlic oil, topped with minced meat and fried pork lard. They were perfect complements to the caramelised char siew and crispy siew yoke ☺️!

P.S. Tossed in salted egg sauce, their crispy lotus roots chips were sooo addictive sia.
