Surprising to see a considerable crowd at Wok Palace located at Connexis on a Sunday evening. A viable zi char option in a restaurant setting for casual family dinners.

This dried scallop broth with baby cabbage and ham was served in a claypot, with the rich, thick scallop broth still bubbling. It was truly a sodium bomb but also umami-packed with the shredded dried scallop. However, the ham was overly animalic and had a strong gamey smell that I couldn’t quite accept. Baby cabbage seemed a little over-cooked.
