Jaffle, or simply sandwich toast, sounds pretty basic yet may not be easy to make a delicious one. We would call these gourmet toasties here as the guys levelled up the flavours pretty well.
The Fowl Play packed 4-hour brine roast chicken thigh and mozzarella between the beautifully iron-toasted sandwich, topped with pickled Japanese cucumber for a refreshing balance to the meat.
The Fun-Guy was a meat-free option with the ever favourite mushroom-mozzarella combination. Served with poached egg, shaved cheese and balsamic glaze, this was more delectable with the melted cheese.
There were several other choices to their range of savoury Jaffles on the menu, though we would look forward to new additions to excite us. Nonetheless, read that their waffles are good treats to check out here too.
Despite the location that may not be so convenient; the cosy interior is actually quite nice space to chill out at, especially for a weekend brunch.
