A surprise find for me over here as I was looking for a quick lunch, the Ban Mian (S$3.50) from Xiao Yu Er is perhaps an underrated item in the coffee shop as most of the limelight were on the Kueh Chap and Fish Maw Soup from neighbouring stalls.

Much as the noodles and minced meat were on the average mark, I liked the soup the most. It's rich and tasty, and seemingly passed the thirst test (ie. flavour not supplemented by MSG).
