Feeling sad to hear the recent news outbreak of demolishing both Tanglin Halt Food Centre & Tanglin Halt Market by end of year 2021. This also means goodbye to lots of nostalgia stalls selling mouthwatering and passed down generations foods. There are many stalls that made it to the list, duck noodles, peanut pancake that open as early as 3.30am, Laksa & many more.. โ

One of our fav stalls is ๐ช๐ฒ๐ถ ๐ฌ๐ถ ๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐๐ฎ & ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ป ๐ก๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ๐น๐ฒ ๅฏไธ่พฃๆฒ, they open as early as 5.30am, only open 4 days a week and they sell till sold out, or around 12.30pm. Be prepare to join a snaking long queue when you arrive, but itโs truly worth it! There are many different combinations you can choose from, starting from $4 a bowl. We had the all-in-1, Chicken, Prawn, Cockles, Fried Beancurd for $5. Laksa gravy is enticing with bright and beautiful color, and tasted delicious! Comes with fresh & generous portions of ingredients in it too! Not sure if they will move to other hawkers, meanwhile do drop by and enjoy a bowl of irresistible laksa before the market is demolished. โ
