been going to Tanuki since its early days as a small outlet at Orchard Central back in 2015, and my favourite 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐘𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐤𝐮 𝐃𝐨𝐧 ($𝟏𝟒.𝟗𝟎++ 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡) is still well-executed after all these years! The truffle aroma is relatively subtle compared to what I would prefer, but the beef is well-cooked, so i’ll say its pretty good for the price. The portions are also reasonably generous.

Also love the onsen egg on the top, which definitely goes super well with their seasoned sushi rice! I am not usually a big fan of rice, but the rice at Tanuki is my weakness...... 🥺👉🏼👈🏼

All in all, definitely a place I’ll always visit whenever I am around the Orchard area and can’t think of anywhere to eat - this is perfect for a meal with a budget < $20 🤩
