Visited ShuKuu on a Saturday evening and it was a nice surprise to find it bustling given that the CBD area is usually dead during weekends. The staffs were quick to seat us and were very attentive throughout the whole meal. Would totally recommend Aburi Salmon Mentai Sushi, Hotate Mentaiyaki and the Tochgi Wagyu skewers.

If you are a fan of aburi salmon sushi, you should try the ones at Shukuu; the flavor just burst in your mouth (and I have no either how given that it is just torched salmon).

The Hokkaido scallop with mentaiko was really sweet and fresh! It comes in 3 pieces. However, you can add another one for $6 if you are sharing with another friend (so each of you get 2 pieces, and that is just the right number for you to feel blissfulness, twice). Look at how sexy they are in the pictures! I kind of regretted not ordering their scallop sashimi.

Their beef cubes came on a skewer and oh, it was buttery and juicy and the right mixture of both meat and fats. The beef cubes were lightly seasoned and thus, retain their nature flavoring.

If you are more adventurous and a big lover of cheese, have a go at the Parmesan Chizu Chips. It is a rather unique dish and I love the combination of the Parmesan chips with honey. Having said that, my friend found the chips too overwhelming. I guess it is the type of dish where you either love it or not!
