Perfect for family gatherings (esp with the elders), this 8 pax set menu comes with their signature Samsui Ginger Chicken, Claypot Tofu and many more! Their ginger samsui chicken was tender with the perfect amount of fat (though some outlets like IMM are more tender than others like here), but the true star of the dish is their heavenly ginger sauce (which is refillable if you’re dining in!), and loved the option of lettuce to wrap the chicken for that extra crunch! 🤤🤤 The claypot tofu was exceptional simply cause of the savoury umami sauce! Other dishes include steamed fish (very soft and not at all fishy), sweet and sour pork (really generous portions with pineapples and peppers), prawn and chinese sausage fried rice (this was good!), dark sauce prawns (this was really sweet and actually really good, just wished that the prawns were pre-peeled to really absorb all that saucey goodness!). 😋😋 Only dishes that were lacklustre would be the corn and carrot soup (doesn’t quite align with the whole theme of the set course) and the dessert (white fungus pear almond dessert?). Overall, a nice place to dine with the family with decent service (though felt a little rushed during our meal), and they definitely do serve up mean dishes with spectacular sauces that definitely are worth a try! 👍🏻👍🏻
