$2.80 for a small bowl of Laksa (Blood Cockles aka Xi Hum included)

I could taste the fresh laksa paste and coconut milk very disctinctly! The broth was perfect; rich but not too rich in a way that I could finish it without feeling it was 'jelak'! Noodles were fresh too, I opted for thick beehoon and it was slightly thinner than normal thick beehoon you get from other laksa stalls! It was topped with cockles, very fresh dried tofu and fishcakes, beansprouts and half a hard boiled egg. Laksa leaves and chili paste were self-service. Quality wise, definitely comparable with Katong Laksa and the cheap prices ($2.80 for small, $3.30 for large) definitely make this a place I'd go to again!
