Dining at this hidden gem is getting a warm hug from an Italian nonna -- with a view of the Singapore flyer to boot!
At the entrance, I was greeted by the owner, who later warmly explained to us the various bestsellers in the menu and each of their respective ratings. I chose a fennel pizza the owner cheekily called the ladykiller, and a calzone.

Let me just say I've been previously scarred by ordering a fennel seed pizza despite not knowing that fennel seeds taste like licorice. Contrarily, this pizza was a BIG HIT. Its light creamy notes of homemade ricotta cheese supported the bits of the sweet Italian sausage and caramelised onion so well, and the crust was light and airy.
