Swee Guan's fried hokkien mee is one of my favorite with its unique intense smoky wokhei flavour from the use of a charcoal stove.

The brother of Swee Guan's owner runs his own stall along East Coast Road and has also set up shop at the East Coast Lagoon FC.

@jooeunchung and I cannot help but go "daebak" at the strong robust smoky wokhei flavours. I would have preferred a little "wetter" version but instead the noodles has really soaked the sweet umani-filled flavours of the stock.

The queue though is a little confusing and hard to navigate. It may be better to pop by during non-peak hours.
