From Motsu-Ya, a new Japanese establishment located at the second level of Fortune Centre, and by the same folks behind Nobu-Ya.

Ginger and Miso Braised Chicken Guts and Vegetables, served with rice and pickles. Really loved this dish even though I am no exotic parts eater; even disregarding the chicken guts which can be rather intimidating for some, this was essentially a braised stew that is wonderfully light and flavourful — slight hints of savoury flavour that is warm and comforting from the Miso that makes it so delicious that one would end up polishing the braising liquid with the pearly and fluffy short-grained rice. Included in the claypot are also strips of succulent and tender chicken and soft-to-the-bite carrots and radish — very homely, yet tasty whilst being wholesome and affordable at $7.80. Something I would really crave for again!
