What I have read online says that quality varies across branches of this relatively well-known chain, but this bowl at the Brunner’s coffeeshop branch was most comforting for all the right nostalgic reasons. Give the “QQ” noodles a good toss in the slightly sweet and oily soy and chilli sauce mix before slurping down for a very satisfying mouthful. Each order comes with 4 wantons(3 boiled, 1 fried), but when I remarked why there was only 1 tiny fried wanton, the cook kindly gave me an extra one.
