Note that there is a rule of 1 drink per pax for dining in ⚠️ (swipe to the end for the beverage menu). Among the 2 tarts that I’ve tried, I personally prefer the sweet potato flavour which surprisingly surpassed my initial expectation for it(perhaps due to its not-so-appealing appearance) with its luscious, pleasant tinge of natural sweetness in the dense, creamy texture of the sweet potato paste. Along with chunks of sweet potato bits embedded within, the tart crust was also crisp, firm and slightly crumbly, with a whiff of aromatic buttery fragrance. Topped with a slice of dried sweet potato slice, perhaps the only downside in this tart was the top layer of cream which was a tad too thick and redundant here for me, a significant role in visuals without contributing much flavour😅 .
On the other hand, the triple tart was pretty enjoyable as well, with a bittersweet cacao note in its crumbly albeit firm chocolate flavoured tart crust. Chocolate, banana and...? I wondered what’s the 3rd component here though for this TRIPLE tart 🤔. With fresh, ripe banana slices that comes with a caramelised glaze on the top layer, there’s even more of it sandwiched within the chocolate mousse layers which was creamy with a luscious, divine chocolatey flavour that complements the banana slices. After all, chocolate and banana is always a safe option that would never go wrong! 👍🏻 .
As for the Cream Oreo Milk tea, it comes in both hot and cold version, which I opted for the latter. Topped with a thick layer of cream and oreo, the milk tea beneath was fortunately not too sweet, with a subtle lingering fragrance and a tea flavour that could have been more distinct. If only the cream was cheese foam instead, as it got rather cloying after awhile that I gave up and just drank the milk tea in silo! 😅 A hidden gem which I chanced upon randomly in Ikseon-dong✨! Loving the cozy ambience and awesome tarts here and would certainly be back for more! 💕
