Such a big bowl of Mala Collagen Soup @ahothideout but yet to feed full both of us.😬 Yep, am back here to have a taste again to check out any improvement.🕵️‍♂️
This bowl here costs a total of $26.20 and consists of 1 Kg plus worth of ingredients in it. We had Large Spicy and also added noodles and eggs.🙈
As usual, some of their ingredients are deep fried first before stir-frying with others in mala spice. Deep-frying is alright but this time round a bit over-fried but nonetheless it give a great crispy texture.😉
For the Collagen Soup, they did improve in the taste of it compare from the last I went. Its quite well-balanced in its savouriness & umaminess. Not quite salty as it used to be. Light & distinct but the thickness and creaminess sad to say, remains the same, lacking. Not "Gao" enough.😔
Spiciness, well, for us, the large spicy is pretty child's play. Easy.🤭🌶🌶
Numbness, mild but constant.
Oily level, healthy.
Recommend to ADD EGGS, not sure why but the way they cooked it give such an extra pleasure. Creamy, fluffy, savoury and meaty. BIG YUM.🥚😋
Overall, they did improve in it but certain factor still lacking but still a delicate delicious bowl.
