You’ll have seen these local favourites available @ninefresh but did you know they had recently added some items to make it more authentic?

Chendol Cup ($2.90) comes with grass jelly, chendol, attap seeds, red bean and taro balls. They now add gula melaka and coconut milk, which brings out the fragrant sweetness as found in chendol dessert. Not a coconut fan? They also have Cheng Teng Cup ($2.90) mixed with lotus nuts, barley, white fungus, sweet potato, longan, taro balls atop ai yu jelly and cheng teng soup. A great thirst-quencher for the scorching hot day.

As the desserts come with durian flavoured balls, you can also ask them to remove if you’re not a fan.
