The thick gravy of "Yuan Chun Famous Lor Mee" is tastier than most as it has a meaty flavour to it. Unlike other stall's gravy that become watery as it cools, theirs stays the same all the way until the last of it is slurped up.
Do note this hawker does not add any sambal paste. For those of you who're like me and need a spicy kick, just help yourself to the sliced chilli padi and big red chillies provided in front of the stall.
The raw garlic purée isn't so readily available though. If you want extra, make sure to ask for it when ordering because the default serving is paltry.
