The style and type of food served at Sideways is to introduce a modern twist to Mediterranean cuisine but done through the woodfire manner. They have a variety of meat dishes to vegetarian and down to vegan options as well. Take for example the pictured Charred Asparagus, which is one of the small plates that are available in the menu. Most people would usually shun away from vegetables but this is one dish that you have to try when here; the nicely charred asparagus has a slight smoky and bitterness to it which is complemented by the creaminess of the burrata cheese and fresh mint pesto oil. Absolutely delightful and you will want to mop it up with some woodfired breads like sourdough or their Turkish flatbread.
