People who like their ramen in chicken broth will cheer for Menya Takeichi, with their 100th stall located at SORA of Changi Airport Terminal 2. Just a sip of the rich chicken shoyu broth from the Special Shoyu Ramen (front, S$17.20) and I have to admit that chicken broth can taste equally rich as the typical Tonkotsu variant that I will always choose over the rest.

A word of caution to those who are particular with picture-perfect food shots of this bowl, because the thing with taste-rich soup is that they tend to taste less appetising as they gradually cool down. Hence, I would suggest being quick with the photography and tuck in while it’s still steaming.
