The moral of the story is to never say no when the chef highly recommends you try something on the menu.

For $12, you get 5 slices of fresh salmon sashimi at Japanese Curry Express that are really really good. Calling them slices may just be the understatement of the year as they come in thick slabs with their house marinade of soy sauce and sweet mirin.

We also love their ebi fry maki which is topped with bright yellow slices of sweet mango, tobiko and mayonnaise.

If there is one dish you must order, it must be their salmon sashimi!
