Finally a savoury japanese bun arrives on Singapore Takashimaya Food Hall apart from the usual sweet treats. Bought 3 flavours to try and we asked for it to be hot, pumpkin, white raddish and . Savoury pumpkin fillings is a surprise because it is usually a sweet one but is abit dry. The white raddish one was really good, it tasted like the chinese soon kueh that everyone is familar with. While the last one tasted like the salted mui choy(mei cai) but at a more subtle taste. I would say generally the buns are not too bad, portion is quite big also with really generous fillings.
