Recently opening their latest outlet, nozomi brings hearty jap food & shelves-load of sake to Star Vista.

I was fed their sponsored ads on IG & bought into it (thanks for making me your target audience) but it was a great choice to pay them a visit as their service and food were spot on!

Hubs & I ordered their Wagyu Beef Shiogayaki Don ($26) and Hokkaido Pork Katsu Yaki Capellini ($29).

For the former, thinly sliced wagyu beef is stir-fried with grated ginger, onions and sweet sauce, then laid on top a bowl of pipping hot niigata rice. The slices of meat were tender and the sweet flavours from the sauce was subtle and enjoyable. The addition of the onsen egg gave it a creamy bump followed by their pickled radish to cleanse your palate before the next scoop. Accompanying the rice bowl is a portion of oden soup, which is something different as compared to your usual miso. The oden is served with konnyaku, daikon and fish cakes, ending your meal on a sweet note.
