Hidden on the 2nd floor of Tanjong Pagar Plaza, @chirashikingkong is a hidden gem selling kingKonglicious truffle-infused Japanese Donburi. With limited counter seats and just some “kopitiam” dining tables along the corridor outside the shop, getting a seat during lunch hours can be really tough. That’s probably why most office workers are seen taking their food away.

For two thick slices of fresh bluefin tuna belly and the minced version of it, I say that’s quite a steal for just $14.90. With salmon roe, pickles and seaweed salad in the bowl, the underlying bed of rice was flavoured with aromatic truffle oil, unlike the other Japanese eateries.
