🍴Traditional Chinese steamed Kuehs with a modern twist on flavours. They were nicely soft, fluffy, and moist. They were also significantly less sweet than most versions, suiting our palettes. However, that might have compromised the taste slightly with the flavours being light.

The most distinct of the 4 and our general favourite was the dark chocolate. The matcha was very subtle while we couldn’t distinguish the dried longan in the sweet potato version. We found the mango and chia seeds mango purée to have an artificial flavour that we mistook for apricot/ orange jam.

Overall, flavours could be more pronounced but these novel huat kuehs are of good texture and enjoyable. Preorders for self-collection and delivery available.
