Want to switch up your date night while scoring a good deal? Uncle Kiisu’s 1-for-1 Omakase at $98++/$128++ may be the answer.

Not too fancy but sure to impress your plus one, the 5-course menu would be available till end July and comes with a free drink when you use Burpple Beyond.

The showstopper was the Whole Live Boston Lobster Uni Charcoal Cream Ramen with a hunky slab of Wagyu Ribeye MBS 5/6 - literally “Life's intensity on a plate” with the two hearty proteins. The lobster was pretty succulent and fresh-tasting while the ribeye was medium well with a firm-chewy bite. Meant for sharing, the luxe combination saw plump, briny ikura and bits of Japanese pickles. Leaning towards the sweet, the uni brown butter cream base was a little weak in the distinct uni flavour but wasn’t gelat. The noodles itself were decent too. And if you have $28 to spare, I highly recommend upgrading the Wagyu Ribeye to Kagoshima A4 for it really changed the whole experience. Sprinkled with crispy garlic chips, the premium cut was slightly smokey, fatty and simply melts in the mouth.
