We didn't need much convincing after seeing 'hazelnut butter' and 'figs' on the menu description for this, but I really wish that they used a light and fluffy brioche instead of the fig jam bread that just didn't quite deliver.

While I usually don't have problems finishing French toast for brunch (especially ones with contrasting components like Common Man's acidic berry compote or RONIN's bacon), I strongly recommend that you get this to share. Yes, it tasted good, but I have to admit that it looked and sounded better than it tasted.
