Much lighter on the palate compared to the Pork Spicy Miso Udon ($13.80) and Maze Udon ($8.80), the subtle savouriness in the broth here comes from dried Japanese bonito. Dip your udon in the boiling soup a few seconds and enjoy it with the tempura crunch and wakame. If you like your tempura prawns crunchy like me, remember to ask for them to be served separately! Think this dish is more suitable for when you want something really light but yet comforting.
