Good value for the price but do not expect anything like those of Wild Honey's. Instead of amazing chorizos, Bread Yard's version uses sausage-shaped minced beef ('Kofta') - grilled and served whole. In terms of flavour, nothing particularly that screams but in terms of execution, definitely done well - not overcooked (phew). As for the shakshuka, the spicy sauce was a tad too tomato-ish and sourish in my opinion. However, the addition of Basil Pesto saved the day! Love the added dimension of minty-taste to the otherwise overly-sourish dish. Bread wise - not sure if toasted sourdough slices were the best complements. I'd have preferred a thicccc brioche that does a great job in soaking up the 'sauce'. Nevertheless, without the comparisons against Wild Honey, this was a rather decent dish at a decent price point. If you've the budget, Wild Honey's still the place to go for a more authentic Shakshuka experience!
