From the folks behind @strangersreu and @curiouspalette , the waffle here bears a striking resemblance to its 2 counterparts. Served with your choice of maple syrup (plain) or vanilla ice cream and fresh fruits, the waffles were done to a soft, fluffy interior with edges that could have been more crisp. The batter had a lingering buttermilk fragrance as well. Coupled with sliced bananas, strawberries and blueberries, the vanilla ice cream was smooth, creamy with a luscious milky flavour and fragrance. Would have been great if the scoop was bigger or perhaps some maple syrup provided as condiments to the waffles (and alleviate dryness). Currently only desserts and beverages in the menu (swipe to view), prices are on a tipping basis from now till @wakeysg officially launches! Hopefully there will be mains in the menu along with their official opening 😬 .
