I recently chanced upon a food truck serving amazing plant-based burgers. If youโre into impossible burgers, this is for you!
Located outside Coronation Plaza, @thegoodburgersg serves up a number of plant-based burgers that tastes like the real thing, but a lot kinder and better for the planet ๐.
Hereโs what we tried:
๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ $22
@thegoodburgersg take on the classic American cheeseburger with Impossible beef patty, cheese and TGB secret sauce. This was simplicity at itโs best - the patty was well-seasoned and juicy. I wouldnโt be able to tell itโs not a real beef patty, unless I really paid attention and deeply savoured each bite. Would totally recommend to add on an additional patty as it definitely elevated the burger.
๐"๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐!" $18
Southern-style crispy fried TiNDLE โchickenโ burger, topped with a slice of cheese, crunchy pickles, and special homemade sauce with a garlicky kick! This definitely WOW-ed me and is my favourite of the night as Iโd have believed itโs a chicken burger if you donโt tell me otherwise!
๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ $18
The posh one with Impossible patty, truffle aioli and rocket. The truffle aroma wasnโt overwhelming and I like it that the burger wasnโt overly greasy.
๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ $20
Aromatic Thai-inspired flavours with Impossible patty. For this, I felt that the Thai flavours and aroma were pretty muted here and wish that it was more pronounced!
Apart from burgers, they offer sides such as ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ ๐๐ญ๐ฌ ($6) and ๐๐จ๐ณ๐ณ๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ค๐ฌ ($8) as well.
I have tried quite a number of impossible burgers, and @thegoodburgersg is one of the better ones that Iโve tried. Their cool concept added some bonus points to it as well! How I wish they were here while I was still schooling in the area! I wouldnโt mind saving the world, ONE BURGER AT A TIME ๐, it they tastes so good!
