So the very first thing i asked her when i’m back in sg was her homemade wantons! With additions of chestnuts, prawns, spring onions marinated together with pork, she made me boxes of the wantons! Just so i could eat them whenever I wish to! Besides wantons in soup or spicy sauce, i would fry them like these, which happened to be Eu’s favourite way of eating. Goes well with my braised Lu Rou Fan, a healthier version with lean meat slices and brown rice. Accompanied by the flavours from my mum’s homemade wantons! 还是妈妈煮的好吃 And my mum approves of this fragrant brown rice from @heavenly_rice. Also comes in fragrant white too.
