For the price, I consider this steak to be more than decent value as the 250gms cut was above average, plus I got to choose two sides from the available four. The green salad and crispy handcut fries (had to top up $1.50 for this as they're made in-house) were what I went for and boy were they substantial! The other options were cole slaw and regular fries (which were chunkier than the handcut ones). Of course, quantity isn't everything. It ultimately comes down to how good the meat is, and I'm pleased to announce that my ribeye made the mark. Cooked medium-rare, exactly as I ordered, it tasted really juicy and tender. The accompanying thick black pepper sauce was another winner in the flavour stakes. I couldn't stop dipping my steak and handcut fries in its fragrant spiciness.
