The set started nicely with a Truffle mushroom veloute, topped with mushroom dust. Mains was a 150g Wagyu flap on curried carrot, would prefer a juicer cut with more marbling though.
The meal ended as nicely with a deconstructed chocolate cake, hay ice cream covered with chocolate shavings and miso caramel. The gold dust certainly was a visual teaser before the smokey surprise to the palate.
Overall, a good meal that’s value-for-money with the discount. Hopefully they’ll change their menu for us to visit again.
