Chocoholics, you have a reason to whoop for joy. From now until 8th April 2018, you can go nuts at the “Chocolate Divine” English Afternoon Tea at L’Espresso Tea Lounge in Goodwood Park Hotel.

Specially crafted chocolate creations join the existing daily buffet. These include crispy sticks of exotic Dark Chocolate Grissinis enhanced by sea salt or Japanese pepper, toasted Ciabatta with a Chocolate Orange spread, Slowbaked Guanjana Chocolate Tartlet, Manjari Chocolate Caramel Shooters, Bitter Chocolate Mousse Delight, Chocolate Fondant, Chocolate Marble Light Cheesecake, Chocolate Macaron, White Chocolate Green Tea Cake and more. Sticks of fruit and marshmallow can also be coated in the smooth, thick chocolate that flows from a tall fountain.

Having dined at L’Espresso Tea Lounge a few times before, I am familiar with the offerings there and was very glad to spot my favourite freshly-baked scones in the spread (the blueberry one is particularly scrumptious with a big cloud of clotted cream spooned on top). I found the quality of the sandwiches really decent as well as they came in different forms with assorted fillings. A couple of hot savoury items like the roasted chicken and other desserts gave me reasons to keep returning to the buffet too.
