Unlike their other bowls that use a mix of chili and vinegar, ordering this signature will get you mee tai mak tossed in a glorious amount of pork lard oil. It’s fragrant and very tasty, despite how plain it looks! You’ll be recommended to not add any additional chilli sauce or vinegar and to taste before adding chilli padi to your liking. We didn’t, as it comes as good as it is with crunchy bits of pork lard, plus handmade meatball, her giao, her chiok and veggie roll. The handmade pieces were all seasoned very well and had a good bite. We missed this the first time we came around noon on a Saturday, so it’s probably best to come earlier or drop by on the weekdays. That aside, you will have to be prepared to wait, ours took about half an hour+.
