As my brother is a fan of cheesecakes & specifically requested for 1 for his birthday 🎂, I googled “best cheesecakes in Singapore” & @catandthefiddlecakes popped up as the candidate with the highest potential. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Having tried their Mango Cheesecake as well as their Apple Crumble rendition before, I recalled that both gave me fond memories so I decided to patronise them again! 💕

Went for their Queen of Hearts (strawberry cheesecake) this time round as it was a classic that you just can’t go wrong with! 🍓🍓🍓 Coupled with a 20% discount (from $38.90 to $31.10), this is just a perfect buy. ✌🏻

Predominantly a thick cream cheese layer that is lusciously creamy & savoury 🤤🤤🤤, this 1kg cake (yields ~10 slices) was indeed rich & indulgent! 😋 I personally would have liked the thin layer of golden brown crust to be thicker (who else is a CRUST person! 🙋🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️) cuz buttery biscuit crust is always good! 😘

The strawberry puree glaze was thin but just enough to impart the right amount of sweet-tangy flavours to the cheesecake. 💯

Pro-tip: freeze it a bit & it tastes just like a slice of ice cream 🍦 - so good I kid you not! ✔
