This far from aesthetic picture does this tart no justice. While initially repulsed by the price, I’m glad it tasted as expensive as the price. The tart was sufficiently form yet crumbly, with a melt-in-your-mouth feel after. Granny Smith apple slices that were glazed with light cinnamon, giving off a delightful sour yet sweet and spice-y flavour. It went perfect with the lightly textured cream in between and the tart shell. Although I was craving an apple crumble (they didn’t have it that day), this did the job of satisfying that not-too-sweet yet sour apple dessert I was looking for. Ultimately, it’s still a pretty damn pricey tart for the size no matter how delicious it was.
