I actually dread writing about @rubicon_steakhouse for fear of the crowds that may emerge if people know how good and reasonably priced their Hokkaido steaks are.

It is not top grade A-5 beef with snow white marbling but I love the strong robust beefy melt-in-your-mouth flavours of their beef. Their tenderloin steaks are the most expensive in-house but make no mis-steak because they are the best. The steaks were perfectly cooked both times I was there. They may however consider being a little less heavy handed with the salt seasoning.

This is now my must-go steakhouse.
