Well, for one, it helps to retain the heat. It is old school and food tastes somewhat slightly better.

I had to try @house_of_happiness_sg lorbak claypot noodles. The braised pork belly was tender, fats melty and decadent. Noodles, perhaps, were abit too much for me. Broth piping hot which was comforting. However, I wished atad more seasoning to the broth were added to bring out a tinge of flavor.

Would love to try the various claypots and sides but it was just me, myself and I. Perhaps another visit soon.
