Visited Alchemist’s swanky new space at Khong Guan Building yesterday. Really liked the vibe of the space — a very integral design with the nostalgic, preserved building it is situated in that blended in well without sticking out like a sore thumb as a result of gentrification.

Enjoyed the Butter Cinnamon Danish; a crisp and flaky pastry that came with light hints of cinnamon and butter crumbles in the middle for some texture, whilst also having a White brewed from a blend of Brazilian and Colombian beans roasted in-house — a smooth and creamy cuppa with an earthy and nutty flavour profile that is all balanced with a clean finish.

Congratulations to the folks behind Alchemist in the opening of their flagship branch, and wishing them all the best that is to come!
