As I had been in the area for a meeting, I decided to drop into "Dolcetto by Basilico" at The Regent Hotel to grab a quick lunch. Little did I expect to unearth such a gem.
My order of "Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli" plus a cappuccino cost me a total of $16. Which is wonderful value but that wasn't what pleased me most. The pasta was the reason for that.
Every piece of ravioli had the right amount of filling and cooked to deliver a perfect bite. Smothered over them was a full-bodied tomato sauce redolent with the aroma of fresh basil.
I will surely return for this and to try the other items in this corner deli. Something tells me there are more delights to discover.
