Serving the CHEAPEST Unagi Hitsumabushi (Small) in town at $9.80 is @unauna.sg, a three-month-old unagi specialty restaurant nestled in Bugis+.

For those who don’t know, there are three ways to eat a Hitsumabushi. First, divide the bowl into portions. Enjoy the first portion on its own and relish the eel's depth of flavour. Then, for the second portion, add nori, wasabi and spring onions to the Hokkaido rice and eel. For the third portion, add the clear dashi to the above mix.

Slathered with their in-house basting tare and freshly grilled over hot charcoal, each slab of unagi was glistening ✨ on the outside, tender & juicy on the inside. How I wish they were as crispy as the ones I had at Man Man Unagi...😛
