Read past reviews and thought the Burpple Beyond deal was for their Wagyu bowl, but turns out they’ve changed their deal menu.

You can choose among their truffle, miso mayo or garlic butter for your Angus Beef bowl. Although a little disappointed that you can’t top up for the wagyu version, this yakiniku version was not too bad as well.

The ship layout of the shop meant every seat is a counter seat, which may be a little awkward for a first timer as the staff all looked pretty preoccupied with whipping up your meal.

The creamy garlic butter went really well with the rice and meat, although a little bit on the salty end, but all’s good when your meal comes with a choice of hot/iced green tea. Curious to try out the other two versions soon.
