At $7, I finally tried the highly raved about Singapore Style Ramen from A Noodle Story @ Amoy St. Waited for about 15 minutes for it on an early Thursday evening. Sad to say that I don't see what's the rave about this bowl of noodle. Yes it's very well executed and presented with its lava egg, shrimp roll and torched chashu. But I just don't think it was as spectacular as everyone claims it to be. Haha #unpopularopinion But do give it a try either way, its pretty special, tastes like a pimped version of mee kia.
