It's been a good long while since I last had windowsill pies. Decided against my usual order of grasshopper pie and went with the pineapple passionfruit yogurt which really took me by surprise. The filling was so refreshing, slightly tangy and not too sweet. Even the yogurt covered muesli bites on the too were a nice added crunch. A new fave!

The pumpkin pecan was recommended by the lady serving us. This pie was deeper in flavour, rich and almost coffee like. It had a brown sugar base filling, a cinnamony pumpkin purée on top with a layer of crushed pecans in between.

The pineapple passionfruit was definitely my favourite of the two. My only note was that the pastry for both pies were only ok - a bit on the drier side. Otherwise, the fillings were winning.
